Cameroon EITI 2020 report in preparation

The firm Enerteam, recruited by the State of Cameroon in the framework of the implementation of the principles of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, held a working session on 25 November with SNH officials.

The meeting brought together the representative of Enerteam, Radhouane Bouzaiane, and the Permanent Secretary of the Cameroon EITI Committee, Agnès Solange Ondigui Owona, on the one hand, and the heads of SNH's Finance, Exploration and Communication units on the other hand.

It fell within the ambit of Enerteam's mission to collect, reconcile and compile the payments declared by extractive companies and the revenues from these companies, declared by the State. These payments are then recorded in a data reconciliation report produced for the general public.

As a reminder, under the EITI, Cameroon must inform the public about all significant revenues generated by the extractive industries for the government, sales of state production shares, revenues received in kind and revenues from transport.
