New Leadership at SINOPEC Subsidiaries in Cameroon

The new CEO received official welcome at SNH on 09th October 2025

Mr Xing Qinghe, newly appointed President and CEO of Addax Petroleum Cameroon Company (APCC) and CEO of Addax Petroleum Cameroon Limited (APCL), was officially received at SNH by Nathalie Moudiki, representing the Executive General Manager.

The appointment comes as SNH reaffirms its strategic role in developing Cameroon’s petroleum resources to strengthen energy sovereignty, drive economic growth, and ensure reliable access to petroleum products. Addax Petroleum, a long-standing and committed partner, is expected to play an active role in achieving these goals.

Over the past few years, Addax Petroleum has drilled 16 wells and contributes approximately 30% of national crude oil production. Investments in the Iroko and Mokoko Abana blocks total USD 528.73 million. The company has also been involved in converting Establishment Agreements and Partnership contracts into Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), in accordance with the 2019 Petroleum Code.

SNH paid tribute to outgoing CEO, Mr Bin Qu, and expects Mr Xing Qinghe to continue strengthening the strategic partnership with the SINOPEC Group.
