SNH's Executive General Manager notes an increase in national gas production in 2023

During a New Year wishes ceremony held at the company's head office on 18 January, Adolphe Moudiki highlighted an encouraging development: an increase of about 5% in national gas production in 2023. This positive trend was driven by the drilling of new wells in the Sanaga Sud field. These resources, which have been harnessed for energy generation since 2013, will find a new outlet this year.

Looking ahead to 2024, Adolphe Moudiki announced that SNH will begin delivering natural gas in the first half of the year to Keda, which is constructing a tile production plant on the outskirts of Kribi. This project is expected to create 2 000 direct and indirect jobs for the local population.

The ceremony also served as a platform for the EGM to pay tribute to about ten retired employees and praised their contribution to the smooth running of the company's projects.

In addition, the Human Resources Division's social review highlighted various actions taken to enhance performance, working conditions, and staff benefits, especially at the end of their careers.

Finally, the EGM expressed his gratitude to the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya, "for the great solicitude he has always shown towards SNH, for his great foresight, his pertinent orientations and sound advice". He also stressed that "SNH has never and will never deviate from the patriotic and ethical line that it has always defended with fervour and without compromise".
