SNH at the side of aspiring filmmakers

The company sponsored the Mwinda Workshops, organised from 18 to 24 January in Yaounde and Douala to introduce Cameroonian high school students to film production.

The initiative, led by Cameroonian photographer & director Osvalde Lewat and French publisher Véronique Cazeneuve, was sponsored by Lilian Thuram, a former international footballer. The competition featured six documentaries of less than 10 minutes, produced by young people aged 16 to 24 with the support of experienced directors, on the theme of gender equality. They were rewarded on 23 January in Yaounde during a ceremony presided over by the Minister of Arts and Culture.
