SNH Hands Over Renovated Kribi SDO’s Office

Presided over by the Governor of the South Region, Félix Nguélé Nguélé, and attended by the representative of the Executive General Manager of the National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH), Nathalie Moudiki, and the Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Ocean division, Nouhou Bello, the event saw strong participation from administrative and traditional authorities, as well as prominent community members.

Beautiful and majestic, the renovated SDO’S Office in Kribi is unrecognisable from the old colonial building, constructed in the 1930s, whose dilapidated state no longer allowed for work in a decent environment or for welcoming the public.

The renovation works, which lasted approximately six months, have restored the building to its splendour. In addition to SNH engineers and technicians, a significant local workforce contributed to the completion of the project.

Every detail was addressed, from the building's core structure to its electrical and plumbing systems, insulation, exterior finishes, windows, doors, flooring, and roof. The revamped SDO's Office also boasts brand-new office furniture and modern computer equipment.

The Governor of the South Region, representing the Minister of Territorial Administration, and the City Mayor expressed their appreciation for this achievement and commended SNH for their community-minded contribution. In her address, Nathalie Moudiki stated that this renovation aligns with "the vision of the Head of State, which is focused on the development of our dear and beautiful country by relying on strong companies that carry out impactful actions in the field."
